Sometimes the solution to the pain in the front of your shoulder might be “simple”. For shoulder to move over head, without pain, the arm has to move about 120 degrees, and the shoulder blade around 60. If the shoulder blade doesn’t move enough, the arm bone will jam into the shoulder blade. The main movements of the shoulder blade to fix it are a so called posterior tilt, and upward rotation. If you master these, which is a relatively easy skill to acquire with a bit of repeated effort, then that’s the “simple” solution to fix the pain.
